Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4, 1954 she is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of awards that include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award), two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first recognized as an actress in 1974 while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, she was part the main ensemble of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy started work on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for her writing in the Outstanding category for Variety Series. O'Hara was included in the newly formed Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
