Kamala Harris

 Kamala Devi Harris born October 20th 1964) is an American lawyer and politician who is the 49th and current vice-president of the United States. She is the first female vice president and the most powerful female politician in U.S. history, as well as the first African American and first Asian American vice president. She is a member of Congress and a former US senator representing California. Harris was born in Oakland, California, Harris graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Harris started her career in the Alameda County District Attorney's Office. She was then recruited to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. She was elected San Francisco district attorney in 2003. In 2010 Harris was elected Attorney General for California. She was re-elected in 2014. Harris was the junior United States senator from California between 2017 and 2021. Harris beat Loretta Santiago in the 2016 Senate election, becoming the 2nd African American woman to serve in Congress and the first South Asian American American to be elected to the United States Senate. As a senator, she advocated for reforms to healthcare, federal de-scheduling of cannabis, a path to citizenship for immigrants who are not legal, the DREAM Act, a ban of assault weapons and progressive tax reform. Her sharp questioning of Trump officials during Senate hearings earned the attention of the nation, including the second Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh who was indicted with sexual assault.

She is a co-host of Outnumbered, and frequently appears on the late-night program Gutfeld!. Compagno was the daughter of Katherine Bertsch (nee Bertsch) and John Compagno. Her father is Italian. She has two older sisters. William Harry Bertsch was her great-grandfather. He was awarded the Silver Star during World War 2. The "Rose in Emily's Name" honors Bertsch. She graduated with a B.A. From the University of Washington, she earned the B.A. degree in political science. She graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law, with the title of J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2006.Emily lives in New York City. She is active with non-profits committed to US Veterans and K9, law enforcement as well as Native American causes.

 Kyra Minturn Sedgwick (born on 19th August 1965) is an American producer, actress and director. Her starring role on TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. Following the conclusion of the seventh season the show was cancelled on August 13, 2012.
