Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as a political contributor for CNN. She was involved in the elections for the re-elections of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's 2012 election campaign. [20] On February 11 2013 Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation she would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21] But Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She remained with the Obama administration until its conclusion.
